FIFA investigate Durante's eligibility to play for NZ

New Zealand footballer Andrew Durante has been named in the All Whites squad, despite ongoing questions over his eligibility.

The Australian-born Wellington Phoenix skipper made his All Whites debut in March, finally forcing FIFA to investigate whether he's allowed to represent New Zealand, after NZ Football didn't get any clarification on his eligibility from the sport's governing body.

All Whites coach Ricki Herbert says they haven't received any further information on Durante's eligibility, but says they'll still play him in next month's four nations tournament in Saudi Arabia.
