As Covid-19 spreads around the world, it can be daunting keeping up with the information. For RNZ, our responsibility is to give you verified, up to the minute, trustworthy information to help you make decisions about your lives and your health. We'll also be asking questions of officials and decision makers about how they're responding to the virus. Our aim is to keep you informed.

Speaking after the Cabinet meeting today, Ardern confirmed she had accepted the Australian Prime Minister's invitation to join his Cabinet's meeting tomorrow to discuss the possibility of a trans-Tasman "bubble".

The announcement followed news that New Zealand had no new cases or deaths for the past 24 hours.

She warned New Zealanders not to be complacent, however, saying the results were indicative of the country's alert level four lockdown.

"My message remains the same ... stay the course. We cannot afford to squander the good work to date when our end goal is close and within reach," Ardern said.

"I'm a perfectionist. I want to see those numbers after we've been in alert level 3 long enough to be sure it's a reflection of alert level 3."
