The damage to the studios of the Broadcasting Corporation of Niue has been put at over $US600,000.
The fire on Tuesday morning destroyed the TV Niue operations room and studio.
Only the radio studio and editing room at the state broadcaster were not damaged by fire, however they were impacted by smoke and soot.
BCN General Manager, Trevor Tiakia, said the broadcaster was seeking equipment from New Zealand to allow them to run at least one channel in the meantime.
Investigations by the fire service into the cause of the fire were continuing.
Earlier there had been reports of electrical issues at the station.
