You're born, you live, you die - ageing, it would seem, is linear. Wrong. It turns out, the human body tends to age in parts, with some organs more susceptible to the ravages of time than others. However, geneticist Michael Snyder says nailing down which body part will fail first is a bit of a gamble because, "Everybody's ageing differently".

But don't despair yet, recent studies have revealed that we are likely to belong to one of four different ageing pathways - and figuring out which 'ageotype' you are, might be the key to staying healthier for longer.

Dr Snyder, director of Stanford University's Center of Genomics, joins Jim to discuss.
