Pacific Music Awards 2024 - live coverage

The Pacific Music Awards are being held at the Due Drop Event Centre in Manukau, Auckland, on Thursday evening.

Polynesian heavy metal group Shepherds Reign lead the nominations - up for six categories, including Flava Best Pacific Group, APRA Best Pacific Song and Recorded Music Best Pacific Album awards.

Samoan-Indian RnB artist Aaradhna is up for five categories, including Auckland Council Best Pacific Female Artist and Pacificast Best Pacific Soul/RnB Artist.

Niuean Auckland-based rapper Diggy Dupé is nominated for four awards, including the NZ on Air Best Pacific Music Video, and Onehunga rap crew SWIDT are up for three, including Flava Best Pacific Group and Matai Best Pacific Hip Hop Artist.
