A regional meeting is looking to discuss challenges, new partnerships, and the future of humanitarian action begins today in Auckland.
The president of Kiribati, the prime minister of Tuvalu, the premier of Niue and the foreign ministers of Australia and New Zealand are all attending the regional meeting of the World Humanitarian Summit.
The meeting is expected to draw close to 150 delegates representing governments, affected communities, regional organisations, UN agencies, NGOs, academia and the private sector.
