The third and final cricket test in the three match NZ-South Africa series is set to start on Friday in Wellington and despite the Proteas' clear superiority, the Black Caps still having a chance of levelling the series, after the first test in Dunedin ended in a draw.
The final day in Dunedin was washed out, but South Africa cleaned up the second match in Hamilton by 9 wickets.
Even so, the Black Caps coach John Wright remains upbeat about the side's performances over the summer.
He hinted batsman Daniel Flynn would open the batting for the Black Caps and says both Flynn and Dean Brownlie, who were recalled into the squad this week, will be in the team to bolster their batting line-up.
That leaves room for just three pace bowlers meaning one of the four seamers in the squad will miss out.
