A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to a hit and run death in Māngere, South Auckland yesterday.

He is due to appear in the Manukau District Court today charged with failing to stop and ascertain injury.
Police said further charges were not being ruled out.
The Thomas Road scene examination has been completed, but officers remain at a nearby house, as detectives try to piece together what happened.
Anyone with dashcam, photos or video footage of vehicles being driven erratically in the Māngere area between 10am and midday yesterday is asked to pass it on to police.
