Iraqi security forces are continuing to take back more of Mosul.

After recapturing two Western districts at the weekend and the city's airport late last week, the forces have now retaken a bridge across the River Tigris.

Once repaired, the bridge could a crucial access point for the military's reinforcements.

Freelance journalist Fazel Hawramy says ISIS are putting up a fierce resistance with suicide car bombs, drones and explosives and the people coming out of the city are "terrified".
