The New Zealand Jewish Council has confirmed the death of a New Zealand born man in Israel.
Spokesperson Juliet Moses said Adam Agmon was killed in action while defending Israel against Hamas.
Agmon was born in New Zealand to Israeli parents, but returned to Israel at a young age.
He has been buried in the regional cemetery in Misigav.
