Vanimo MP, Belden Namah, disrupted the Supreme Court in 2012 when he was deputy prime minister, demanding the resignation and arrest of Sir Salamo Injia.

The incident related to just one of ten charges of misconduct that the tribunal is investigating Mr Namah over.

He has pleaded guilty to seven charges.

These relate to the late submission of annual statements to the Ombudsman Commission and failure to lodge financial returns to the Office of Political Parties and Candidates.

Mr Namah is also defending himself on a charge stemming from his allegedly unlawful decision to remove a Vanimo District Administrator in 2007.

A finding against Mr Namah could mean his dismissal from office.

He was due to testify before the Tribunal today, but the hearing has been adjourned to tomorrow.
