Springboks change two for England clash

08:09 am on 24 November 2010

The Springboks restored halfback Ruan Pienaar and number eight Pierre Spies to the starting fifteen with coach Peter de Villiers confident his side can bounce back against England at Twickenham on Sunday morning.

The pair replaces Francois Hougaard and Ryan Kankowski in a team that was otherwise unchanged from the one which suffered a shock 21-17 loss to Scotland in Edinburgh last weekend.

Hougaard drops to the bench in a straight swap with Pienaar while Kankowski drops out of the squad altogether.

De Villiers dismissed the idea of making wholesale changes and says the team has all the ability they need - but he concedes they must execute more accurately against England or risk suffering another embarrassing loss.

The Springboks go into Sunday's Test having beaten England on six successive occasions but with the home side installed as favourites.
