Hobbiton has confirmed a visitor who was at their site earlier this month, has since tested positive for Covid-19 after going overseas.
Hobbiton deputy chief executive Shayne Forrest says the Ministry of Health informed the tour operator at the weekend.
The visitor toured the set at noon on 7 August - testing positive on arrival back in their home country.
Forrest said official health advice puts the risk to visitors and staff as very low.
He said all staff and customers who were there on the day had been notified to watch for any symptoms.
Meanwhile, Northland District Health Board has posted a notification on their social media telling people to be vigilant for symptoms after a visitor to the area also tested positive after arrival to their home country.
According to the DHB, the person was at Kiwi North in Maunu, Whangarei on 28 July between 1pm and 4pm.
People who develop symptoms should get tested for Covid-19, the DHB said.
