Hundreds of items of mail destined for North Shore Hospital have been stolen.

NZ Post said the letters were in transit and were taken from a site on the North Shore on 8 July.
It said it was working to get in touch with patients who may have been affected.
People who have contacted North Shore hospital by mail in the days before the eighth but have not heard back should call the hospital if they are concerned.
NZ Post apologised and said it was investigating, as were the police.
