One person is dead after a crash involving a motorcyle and a car in the Auckland suburb of New Lynn early this evening, with police appealing for any sightings of a Harley Davidson being driven dangerously in the area before the crash.
The crash happened at about 5:50pm on Rimu Street, near Nikau Street.
One man was taken to Auckland City Hospital in a critical condition, but he later died.
The road is still closed as the Serious Crash Unit carry a scene examination.
Police said investigations into the crash were still ongoing, but they would like to hear from anybody who saw a Harley-Davidson motorbike driving dangerously on Great North Road, Rata Street, and Rimu Street before the crash.
