New Zealand's world amateur golf number one Lydia Ko through to the second round of matchplay at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship in Ohio.
Ko, who was the leading amateur in last month's U.S. Women's Open, beat American Amy Beth Simanton 4 and 3.
Match-play rounds continue throughout the week with a 36-hole final scheduled for Sunday.
