The body of a man missing from a Christchurch rest home has been found.

Peter Tangira, who was 64, was last seen on Thursday evening at the Brookhaven rest home in Ferrymead.
His body was found by the police in the suburb of Brooklands this morning.
Police said his next of kin had been informed and offered Victim Support. The death has been referred to the Coroner.
