As part of this year's Tropic Twilight exercise, the New Zealand Defence Force is providing a range of dental treatments, including restorative dentistry, in Samoa.
The treatments are being provided through a clinic at Poutasi village on the southeast coast of Upolu.
The 13 person team is seeing up to 40 patients a day.
Team leader, Major Philip Worthington, said the emphasis was on getting as much quality dentistry work done for each of patient as possible.
He said there had been a very strong community response to their outreach.
