Raymond Gary Coombes, 38, pleaded guilty to the offensive behaviour charge in April.

He is also facing two other charges by the police, including careless driving.

At the Christchurch District Court this afternoon, Coombes' lawyer says he was waiting for an autism assessment to be carried out before entering a plea on the additional charges.

Sentencing will be carried out on 16 June.
