There are some beautiful thoughts on relationships from this year’s Silver Scrolls finalists. There’s also the power of finding your roots, and the thrill of letting go and choosing fun.

The prestigious NZ music award, celebrates the art of songwriting in New Zealand and has passed through the hands of some of our most celebrated songwriters - Ray Columbus, Bic Runga, Marlon Williams, Sir Dave Dobbyn, Rob Ruha and last year’s winners, The Beths for their song 'Expert in a Dying Field'.

The APRA Silver Scroll Awards are happening on Tuesday in Pōneke Wellington, and the five finalists tell the story of their song on Music 101.
