Australian con-man, Peter Foster, has admitted giving money to some members of Fiji's ruling SDL Party.

Foster made the admission after being returned to the hotel where he is serving his bail condition.

Foster confirmed he was taken from the hotel by armed soldiers last Thursday night.

He has told told Fijilive.com that he was taken to Queen Elizabeth Barracks where he was told the military was aware he assisted the SDL in the May general election and that he may be privy to certain evidence that the 2006 election was fixed.

When further questioned he confirmed financially assisting some SDL members, including senior Cabinet ministers.
