More support needed for unwanted teen pregnancies in Samoa

A woman in Samoa has been given a jail term of ten years for infanticide for flushing her newborn down the toilet two years ago. 

It is just one of a number of incidents this year involving babies abandoned at birth or mothers killing their baby.

Sara Vui-Talitu spoke to our correspondent, Autagavaia Tipi Autagavaia about ongoing community concerns about unwanted pregnancies and the pressures facing young mothers.
