New locations of interest linked to a suspected Omicron case in Queenstown have been posted on the Ministry of Health website.
The Hotel St Moritz Queenstown and Queenstown Airport were added to the page at 9am this morning.
Anyone at the hotel between 12am and 12pm on Saturday 22 January and anyone at the airport between 2.15pm and 3pm the same day is advised to self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after exposure.
If symptoms develop, testing required and you must remain at home until a negative result is returned.
The Soundsplash festival held in Hamilton from Friday 21 January to Sunday 23 January has also been listed as a location of interest.
In addition, person in Gisborne has tested positive for Covid-19, the local district health board - Hauora Tairawhiti - has confirmed.
Local public health officials are following up with close contacts and there are no locations of interest at this stage.
