A staff member at Capital and Coast DHB has been the victim of a phishing scam, leading their account to send thousands of emails all across the world.

In a statement, the DHB said no private or patient information had been compromised, but anyone who received an email from a ccdhb.org.nz address should not respond and instead contact the DHB by phone to ensure it was legitimate.
The staff member's email account was locked down, and the scam has been blocked.
