The West Indies wicket-keeper Denesh Ramdin has been suspended for two matches and fined 100 percent of his match fee for wrongly claiming a catch in the Champions Trophy.
The incident happened during the West Indies-Pakistan match at the weekend when Ramdin claimed a catch behind, but replays showed the balled had spilled from his grasp.
The match referee Chris Broad charged Ramdin with violating the spirit of the game.
A West Indies official has said no decision has been made regarding an appeal.
