Police are appealing for witnesses after a young father was killed in New Plymouth.

Rei Marshall, 23, was taken to hospital with serious injuries last week, but died.
Detective Senior Sergeant Gerard Bouterey said police have completed a scene examination in South Road, Blagdon.
The police are asking for dashcam footage from anyone travelling between Spotswood College and Blagdon Road between 4pm and 7.15pm last Wednesday.
They are also appealing for any witnesses along the same stretch of road who noticed anything, especially if they were flagged down or stopped by people standing in the road.
