West Indies batsmen Darren Bravo and Shamarh Brooks have spent some valuable time in the middle ahead of the two test series against the Black Caps.
Bravo has struck a century (135) and shared in a 122-run third wicket partnership with Brooks, who scored 80, on day two of their tour match against New Zealand A in Queenstown.
They have helped the West Indies to 329/6 at stumps, with Shane Dowrich (1*) and Shayne Moseley (0*) the not out bastmen.
Brooks, Jermaine Blackwood and Roston Chase were dismissed late in the day after the tourists were 309/3.
Jacob Duffy, Blair Tickner, Michael Rippon, Nathan Smith, Sean Solia and Rachin Ravindra picked up a wicket each for New Zealand A.
The West Indies lead New Zealand A's first innings by 21 runs with a day to play in the practice match.
