Search and rescue teams have found the body of a fisherman missing in Northland.
The police were alerted just after five this evening, after the man failed to return from fishing at Motukaraka Point in Hokianga Harbour.
The police, the Coastguard and community members were all involved in the search for the 65-year-old.
His body was found just after 8pm and the police say they are supporting the man's family.
Meanwhile, another fisherman in his 50s is still missing in West Auckland.
The man went fishing on Saturday and was reported missing by his son last night.
Police officers have been making enquiries in the Bethells Beach area today.
The police Eagle helicopter and surf lifeguards have also been involved in the search.
