The Kaitieke School fundraising horse trek was held at Labour Weekend. Country Life reports about 100 riders enjoyed the annual event.
Riders came from all over the North Island. They camp at the local hall and do three, one day treks. This year the tiny King Country school was raising funds for the school bus.
The seven children from the school provided the entertainment before the Rugby World Cup final on Sunday night.
