The owners of Lord's have denied they're considering selling the naming rights to the famous cricket ground.

The Marylebone Cricket Club's chief executive (MCC), Keith Bradshaw, says there's "no way" they'd rebrand the home of cricket as part of a multi-million-pound redevelopment.

The Times quoted Bradhsaw saying renaming the venue "is obviously an option" but jhe's now back-tracking.

He's told the BBCLord's is the home of cricket, the hallowed turf, and rebranding is not an option.

The Times says the revamp is designed to increase seating by about ,500 and create an underground cricket academy, a brasserie and a bigger museum.

It would would be funded partly by selling luxury flats around the ground's periphery
