Radius Care will list on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) at the end of the week as it looks to future growth and expansion.

Founder and board chair Brien Cree said the company had established itself as a provider of aged care and already built two retirement villages.

"The development and villages space is one of the areas where we want to grow, however, we will remain a care-focused business. We have clear plans and targets in place for the next five years and beyond."

There is no sale of shares associated with the listing.

The company was set up in 2003 and operates 22 aged care facilities and two villages with more than 1700 residents.

Cree will continue as managing director and executive chairman responsible for long-term growth, with operational issues to be under the chief executive Stuart Bilbrough, a former chief financial officer of the company.

Radius is the third new listing on the NZX in as many months and comes not long after industry giant Meltlifecare was taken over by Swedish investors and delisted.

A fourth new listing is expected on 18 December when the New Zealand Rural Land Co is due to debut.
