Three Lower Hutt women with ties to the Mongrel Mob have failed in their latest attempt to overturn their state house evictions.
The Human Rights Review Tribunal has ruled that Housing New Zealand is not discriminating against them on the grounds of their family status and can now act against them as it sees fit.
The three have fought to stay in their homes in Farmer Crescent, Lower Hutt, since a spate of gang ructions in early 2009.
Housing NZ has always argued it's the actions of the men linked to the women, not the relationships, which are the source of the evictions.
Housing New Zealand says it is pleased with the outcome and is reviewing the women's circumstances before making any decisions.
The Mongrel Mob says the women are emotional, upset and disappointed.
