The director of Vanuatu's tourism department has called on buses, taxis, restaurants and hotels in Port Vila to take good care of 2,000 tourists arriving aboard an Australian cruise ship which arrives on Saturday.
George Borugu says the Pacific Dawn's owner, Carnival Australia, sent a large quantity of relief assistance aboard the ship to help victims of Cyclone Pam in March.
He has called on the people of Port VIla to welcome the visitors aboard the ship when it arrives, by throwing open their doors as a gesture of joy and gratitude for their help.
