A person has died following a water incident this morning in Auckland.
The person died this morning at an address in Takapuna, police said.
Emergency services responded, but the person was located deceased.
No other details were available.
Yesterday, two people also died in water-related incidents on Auckland's North Shore.
Police and emergency authorities have repeatedly spoken out about the high drowning rate in Aotearoa, which reached a 14-year-high in 2022.
