There's no denying New Zealand women are a dominant presence at Tokyo. Lisa Carrington, the Women's Sevens, Emma Twigg and the coxless pair Kelly Gowler and Grace Prendergast all took home gold.

Women's Double Scull Hannah Osborne and Brooke Donoghue took home silver, as did the Women's Eight rowing and last night, Keirin Ellesse Andrews in cycling. Dame Valerie Adams added a bronze.

These feats are an inspiration to others, says Women in Sport Aotearoa chief executive Rachel Froggatt.

She spoke to Susie Ferguson.
