The health authorities said as of Sunday night, almost 96 percent had received a first jab.

This follows Friday's 'Follow up Mass Vaccination Campaign' when close to 12,000 people received the second vaccine dose.

The campaign on both main islands was led by the Chairman of the National Emergency Operation Centre Agafili Shem Leo and the Director General of Health Leausa Dr Take Naseri.
