Indonesia's military has arrested a Polish man in Papua on suspicion of ties to armed separatist groups in the region.
The Associated Press reports 39-year-old Jakub Fabian Skrzypski has been held for several days without formal legal representation.

Police and military reports obtained by the news agency say Mr Skrypski was in contact with five Papuans found with ammunition, who were detained shortly before his arrest.
Police say Mr Skrypski is a journalist but he reportedly said he was a tourist and didn't know the people he is being linked to.
Polish diplomats have asked the Indonesian government to given them access to Mr Skrypski.
Earlier this month Australian researcher and former journalist Belinda Lopez was detained at an airport in Bali before being deported.
Indonesian officials said Ms Lopez was on a government blacklist because she was a "covert journalist".
In February BBC journalist Rebecca Henschke was forced to leave Papua after controversial tweets the military said had "hurt soldiers' feelings."
