Egypt is to carry out DNA tests on the mummified remains of two foetuses found in the tomb of Tutankhamun to determine if they were his children.
The bodies of the two still-born children were found in 1922 in the boy king's tomb in the ancient city of Luxor, by the British explorer Howard Carter.
They have since been kept at the University of Cairo.
Egypt's antiquities chief says the tests will help to identify other people related to Tutankhamun, who died more than 3000 years ago.
