A 19-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found at a Rotorua school.
Police said the man knew the 22-year-old victim, who has been named as Lynace Parakuka, but would not comment on the nature of their relationship.
The man is due to appear in the Rotorua District Court this morning.
No-one else is being sought in relation to Ms Parakuka's death.
Her body was found on the grounds of St Michael's Catholic School late on Friday.
