Authorities have found more than $3 million worth of methamphetamine being smuggled into New Zealand hidden in skincare and shampoo containers.
Customs staff found a number of the bottles at the International Mail Centre in Auckland earlier in March and say the drugs were cleverly concealed.
Along with police they launched a surveillance operation, and found a second consignment.
In total, 3.3kg of methamphetamine have been seized with a street value of up to $3.3 million.
On Friday, a 39-year-old New Zealand citizen appeared in Manukau District Court charged with a number of drug-related offences.
Two Chinese nationals also face a range of drug charges.
