The resumption of flights from Japan to the Northern Marianas have been delayed further with the announcement that Skymark Airlines has again extended the suspension of its Narita-Saipan flights until 30 September.

The move is in response to decreased travel demand due to the global coronavirus outbreak.
In April, Skymark announced the suspension of the flights, which only started on 26 March, would be extended until 31 May.
This was in response to the enforcement of quarantine measures by the CNMI and Japanese governments.
The carrier's original plan was that the suspension would only last until 10 May.
The CNMI has set a 15 July target date to reopen for tourists.
The Commonwealth has announced a slew of control measures for tourists and returning residents coming into the islands, including no quarantine for tourists carrying documents clearing them of Covid-19.
Tourists who can't produce the document would have to quarantine at an isolation facility and pay $US400 a night, including meals, for four days.
On the fifth day, they would have to pay another $US300 to have a coronavirus test.
