The Federation of Maori Authorities is holding its annual conference next month where it will update its members on the review of the Te Ture Whenua Act Review.

The three day conference, which will be held in Whanganui from 26 September, will update members on issues linked to it.

The Authorities' chief executive, Te Horipo Karaitiana said that included discussions on sustainable business and investment opportunities.

The conference will also launch the Maori Excellence in Farming award, which Mr Karaitiana said would showcase local business talent.

He said the conference was also about leadership, innovation, knowledge, and collaboration and would feature international speakers and local showcases.

Te Horipo Karaitiana said the key speakers would be Business and Economic Research Ltd chief economist Dr Ganesh Nana, Landcorp chief executive Steven Carden and lawyer Mai Chen.
