The cost of registering a car is due to fall again.
The government has today confirmed it will cut ACC levies for the 2016/17 year.
Under the change, the average motor vehicle levy will fall from $194 to $130.
ACC Minister Nikki Kaye said that would bring the levy down to an historically low level.
The average work levy paid by employers and the earners' levy paid by workers would also fall.
The cuts were worth $450 million a year, Ms Kaye said.
