A 13-year-old boy has been killed after being hit by a car while crossing the road in the Christchurch suburb of Woolston.
Police say the boy died as a result of his injuries after trying to cross at the Dyers Road and Ferry Road roundabout at 6.10pm on Monday.
The serious crash unit is investigating and police would like to speak with any witnesses.
