Phase one of French Polynesia's Covid-19 vaccination programme has now reached over 1900 people since 18 January.
Those targeted in the first tranche include frontline health workers and those 75 and older on Tahiti and Moorea.
Hospital staff on Raiatea and Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas are also included.
The hard hit French territory has suffered 131 deaths and more than 18,000 infections, most since the border was reopened in July to boost tourism.
French Polynesia's first phase of vaccination uses a two dose shot required within 21 days of each other.
The programme is free and voluntary.
