All Whites rest after historic victory

11:51 am on 31 May 2010

The All Whites haven't spent too much time reflecting on their stunning 1-0 upset win over Serbia in their World Cup warm-up match in Austria on Sunday.

The squad had a pool session today before moving base closer to Slovenia, who they play on Friday morning.

Defender Winston Reid says they have taken in the positives from the win, but they must use it as something to work forward with.

Many of the squad took in the England-Japan friendly, which the English won 2-1 thanks to two own goals.

The All Whites resume full training tonight with a full squad following the return of newly married Chris Killen and the recent arrival of on-standby midfielder Cole Peverley, brought in as injury cover for vice-captain Tim Brown.
