A person has died after being hit by a car in Auckland's Albany.
Police said emergency services responded to the crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian on Corinthian Drive around 9:45am on Tuesday.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in a critical condition but has now died.
"Police extend their condolences to their family and friends at this difficult time," a police statement said.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.
