John Farnham's son Rob Farnham has publicly shared photos of the legendary Australian singer for the first time since undergoing surgery for oral cancer.
The photos were from Rob Farnham's wedding to wife Melissa in February, just months after the singer announced he was cancer-free.
Farnham, 74, looked to be in high spirits as he posed in photos with his family.
The images, shared on Instagram, attracted well wishes in the comments section for both the newlyweds and the music icon.
"Such a beautiful father-son pic," one user wrote.
"Congratulations to you both. It's so nice to see your dad, he looks fantastic!" another commented.
In August 2022, Farnham revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery in a Melbourne hospital to remove a cancerous tumour from his mouth.
The procedure lasted 11 and a half hours followed by eight weeks of radiation.
In a health update one year after the marathon surgery, Farnham was given the all clear by doctors and described himself as "the luckiest man alive".
"I'm home now and I'm a very grateful and happy man," he said.
In March 2023, the singer was taken to hospital for treatment of a respiratory infection, which he recovered from two months later.
Farnham is one of Australia's most successful performers, with his 1986 album Whispering Jack selling more than 1.6 million copies.
He was named Australian of the Year in 1987, and has won 19 ARIA awards over his five-decade career.
