Australian judges to help out as Samoa hears election petition cases

Two Australian judges are expected to take part in the hearing of election petitions in Samoa.

The chief executive of the ministry of justice and courts administration, Masinalupe Tusipa says the names of the Australian judges should be made public today.

They will assist Chief Justice Ti'ava'asu'e Falefatu Sapolu and Supreme court Judge Lesatele Rapi Va'ai.

Seven petition cases are to be heard from May 16.
