New Māori domestic violence service opened in South Auckland

A new kaupapa Māori domestic violence initiative has opened in South Auckland.

Te Taanga Manawa is a joint venture between Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri Trust and Counties Manukau Community Police. 

The Trust says there is a critical need in the community for family harm prevention services, with a spike in cases during lockdown highlighting the problem.
